The One with Your Questions

You got questions. We got answers!

On today’s episode, we kick off season three of HR Besties by answering some of your listener questions. That’s right - the besties are answering your questies! Who doesn’t love a random rhyme?

And if this week’s newsletter feels a bit different, it’s because Bestie Ashley is floating in the middle of the ocean somewhere and for some reason left Jamie in charge. Leigh is operating as editor and additional jokes contributor - Leigh will do anything to help increase her chances for a high performance rating this year.

Let’s jump in and get this meeting started…

  • Intro Story: Leigh certainly knows how to set the tone for the season with her attention-grabbing intros! A body part being licked at a work function? That's quite the scene to imagine, again.

  • Corporate Cringe Speak: We learn Ashley’s one and only reason for moving to Australia - to be her “fun fact” of future meetings for the rest of her life.

  • Questies for the Besties: We'll be tackling some burning questions from our fellow besties and, naturally, engaging in our signature banter that's sharper than a pencil in a room full of comedians!

  • Questions & Comments: We learn what each bestie’s “dream job” is and who can write in hieroglyphics, what 4011 means and Jamie’s favorite word - brace yourself!

Discussion Guide for Your Team (Questions for your team meeting or podcast discussion club):

  • Fun Fact: Is your team's icebreaker game strong? While some might find them fun, not everyone shares the sentiment. Consider polling your team to ensure that fun facts aren't unintentionally causing more harm than good. It's all about fostering an inclusive and enjoyable environment for everyone.

  • Tuba Milk: Has anyone on your team drank two gallons of milk out of a tuba? Please let us know immediately by emailing us with photo evidence at [email protected].

Give the episode a listen, reach out to share your thoughts, and if you listen on Spotify, take part in our poll every episode.
